Mobile App - Logging into the Mobile App


Description: In this topic, the user will learn how to log into the DCI mobile app.

Role Required: Employee (base user)

Permission Required: N/A

To use the DCI Mobile App, the user must:

  • Have a smart device (phone or tablet)

  •  

    • Please note: The DCI mobile app does work in areas of low or no network availability using Mobile Offline Mode, which is an instance-level setting. In order to use Mobile Offline Mode, a device must be connected to the internet the first time the user logs in. View the article Mobile App Offline - Employee.

Before Initial Login

  • Username and Password will be provided by the organization

  • The organization may provide a System Identifier, which is a code connecting the user to the organization's instance of DCI. The organization name may also be used to locate the instance.

First Login

  1. Upon opening the app at initial login only, a system alert will appear stating, "This app collects and stores location data at the moment of clock in/out to enable visit verification per your employer's requirements. If you transport a client as part of services or need to track reimbursable mileage, your location will be captured to determine your travel route, even when the app is not in use." Users must click Acknowledge to proceed.

    1. If the user selects Not Now, they do not receive the "Allow 'DCI Mobile EVV' to use your location?" alert, and will be prompted for location permissions at a later time.

  2. A system alert will appear asking, "Allow 'DCI Mobile EVV' to use your location?Click Allow While Using App.

  3. On the Select Agency screen, type at least three consecutive characters of the agency name OR the system identifier in the Search Agency field. The consecutive characters can be located anywhere in the agency name or system identifier.

  4. Select the agency from the results list

  5. Click the blue Next button to proceed to the login screen

  6. The selected agency displays. Enter username and password or PIN to proceed with logging in for the selected agency.

  7. Enter Username and Password or PIN

  8. Click Login

Subsequent Logins

  1. The agency selected at the most recent log in will default. To select a different agency, tap the Select Agency field.

    1. If the agency is not listed, follow the steps outlined in the Add an Agency section to add it.

  2. Enter Username and Password or PIN

  3. Click Login

Add an Agency

  1. Open the DCI Mobile EVV app

  2. Tap the Agency field to display the agency list, which is a pop-up including all agencies that have been added to the device. *Please note: The agency list is visible to all users sharing the device. It is stored in the device’s local storage and is not user specific. If the app data is cleared, the agency list is deleted and must be rebuilt.

  3. Click Add New

  4. The Add Agency pop-up appears

  5. Type at least three consecutive characters of the agency name OR the system identifier in the Search Agency field. The consecutive characters can be located anywhere in the agency name or system identifier.

  6. Select the agency from the results list

  7. Click Add

  8. The newly added agency appears at the bottom of the agency list. Agencies appear in the list in the order in which they were added.

  9. Tap the radio button next to the agency to select it

  10. Tap the Ok button to close the agency list pop-up and return to the login screen

  11. The selected agency displays. Enter username and password or PIN to proceed with logging in for the selected agency.

Remove an Agency

  1. Open the DCI Mobile EVV app

  2. Tap the Agency field to display the agency list

  3. Click the minus sign (-) to remove an agency from the list. The agency radio button cannot be selected in order to delete the agency.

  4. A confirmation alert populates asking "Are you sure you want to remove the selected agency from the Agency list?". Click Confirm.

  5. The agency is now removed from the list
