July 2025 - 2nd Release - Release Notes


The DCI maintenance release for the web portal will occur on the morning of Wednesday, July 30, 2025, and will require the DCI web portal to be unavailable for all users from 1:30 AM to 3:30 AM EST.

The DCI maintenance release requires a mobile app update. The new mobile app version will be available as early as Wednesday, July 30, 2025. All users will be forced to update their mobile app as early as Thursday, July 31, 2025. Thank you for being a valued DCI customer!

 

Employee Group Authorizations

DCI now allows duplicate/overlapping authorizations for the same client and service code when assigned to different employees. A new service code setting called Allow Employee Authorizations is now available. This feature allows units/dollars to be allocated to a specific employee or group of employees.

*Previously:

  • A client could not have more than one authorization for the same service code and the same or overlapping dates

  • Units/dollars could not be allocated to a specific employee or a group of employees

*New:

  • A client can now have more than one authorization for the same service code and the same or overlapping dates as long as they are associated with different employees

  • Units/dollars can be allocated to a specific employee or group of employees by assigning employees to authorizations

    • To utilize, enable the Allow Employee Authorizations setting on the service code.

      • Please note: When enabled, a specific employee or employees must be assigned to the authorization for that service code.

    • This feature cannot be enabled for a service code that already has a funding account and authorization. A new service code is required.

Mobile App Digital ID Card

A digital ID card is now available so that employees can quickly and easily show their credentials via the mobile app if needed. This quick communication tool includes the employee’s name, agency name, website, and logo, along with a configurable statement set at the instance level. To enable this feature, submit a DCI Support ticket.

Mobile App Enhancement for Employers

Employers can now sign off on vendor payment entries in the mobile app via Entries Requiring Sign Off on the menu.

New Reminders for Employers to Sign Off on Vendor Payments

Super users can enable the new Employer Vendor Payment Sign Off Required message template so that employers receive a notification requesting sign-off after a vendor payment entry is created.

An additional message template called Employer Vendor Payment Sign Off Pending is now available. Super users set the frequency of the ongoing reminder, and when enabled, employers receive a sign-off reminder message. Vendors can also utilize this message template on-demand through a newly added Send Sign-Off Reminder button (see Vendor Payment Enhancements section below).

Vendor Payment Enhancements

We are excited to share several new features for Vendors!

  • A new search filter and column called Client ID has been added to the Accounts tab

  • The Entries page now features new and updated filters

    • New Created Date: From (MM/DD/YYYY) and Created Date: To (MM/DD/YYYY) allow vendors to search entries within a date range

    • Existing date range filters are now called Service Date: From (MM/DD/YYYY) and Service Date: To (MM/DD/YYYY)

    • New Awaiting Sign-Off filter allows vendors to easily locate entries pending sign-off

  • A new Send Sign-Off Reminder button is now available on the Entries page allowing vendors to remind employers to sign off on entries in Pending status.

    • Click the button to automatically select and send for all available entries

    • OR select an entry(ies) by clicking the checkbox on the entry row, then click the Send Reminder button.

Case Worker Enhancements

Navigation in DCI is now easier than ever for Case Workers!

  • The Accounts tab has been added to the submenu providing faster and easier access to employee data on the Employee Service Accounts page

  • Region filter has been added to the Client list page to further refine the client search

  • For Case Workers with the Enable Authorization Management setting enabled on their profile, the History tab is now available on authorizations.
