February 2026 Release Notes

February 2026 Release Notes

The DCI maintenance release for the web portal will occur on the morning of Wednesday, February 11, 2026, and will require the DCI web portal to be unavailable for all users from 1:30 AM to 3:30 AM EST.

The DCI maintenance release requires a mobile app update. The new mobile app version will be available as early as Wednesday, February 11, 2026. All users will be forced to update their mobile app as early as Thursday, February 12, 2026. Thank you for being a valued DCI customer!

Mobile App Icons - Visual Aid Enhancements

The mobile app now includes a small set of intuitive icons to help users quickly recognize key actions such as Login, Home, Client, Continue, Confirm, Cancel, and Notes without relying solely on text. These visual cues are designed to improve usability and make common actions easier to identify at a glance.

Geofencing Hard Stop

A new hard-stop geofencing option is now available for Mobile App clock-ins. When enabled on a Service Code, caregivers will be prevented from clocking in if they are outside the allowed radius of the selected EVV location.

This enhancement builds on the existing soft-stop geofence, which flags out-of-range clock-ins but allows them to proceed.

Scheduling: Definition of Late

Super Users, Supervisors, Employers and Clients with the Enable Schedule Management profile setting can now set late notifications directly on Client Schedules.

When adding or editing a client shift, schedulers can use the new Late Notification field to define how long after the scheduled start time a late notification is sent if no clock-in occurs. If a Late Notification is set on the schedule entry, it overrides the existing instance-level setting for “Late” if present. If no Late Notification is set on the schedule entry, the existing instance-level setting will continue to apply.

Late notifications are sent using the Scheduling Notify Failure to Punch and/or Critical Shift message templates. Both message templates must be active for notifications to be delivered. The recipients on message templates are configurable.

Care Management: Care Note Changes

The Require Care Note service code setting has been enhanced! When this setting is enabled, caregivers will now be required to publish a Care Note, regardless of whether a task is required.

This applies to mobile app real-time clock out and the IVR.

Additionally, a Care Note can now only be published if at least one task is resulted. This applies to all places where a Care Note can be published, including:

  • Real-time clock out in the mobile app and IVR

  • Publishing a Care Note historically in:

    • Mobile app

    • Web Portal

    • IVR
